From the OMS platform, you will send multimedia content to any OKO device you have linked in your company. There are two types of content, Base content and Scheduled content.
- Base content: It is the content that we send directly to a device. This content will always be stored locally in the device's memory. We will only be able to replace it by sending new direct content.
- Scheduled Content: This is the content that we send on a scheduled basis. It can be a continuous or weekly schedule. The scheduled content will be saved together with the Base content locally in the device memory and will be displayed only on the dates/times chosen. During the hours that the content is not programmed, the Base content will be automatically displayed. At the end of the scheduled date, this content will be deleted.
To send content choose if you want to send content to a device by clicking on the device arrow that you will see in the Device Options, or select the Send Content tab from the general menu. In both cases, you will access the send content section.
Step 1. Devices
Choose to whom you want to send the content, if it is to a device or group of devices, or if you want to send the content to a location (not available).
To Devices: Select one or more devices and click next.
You can filter between devices of various locations, types, orientations, and categories.
Step 2. Content
Choose what content you want to send to the devices.
Then click Send (1) so that the devices receive the new content immediately or Next (2) if you want to send the scheduled content.
Step 3. Schedule delivery
Schedule when your devices will receive the content, and choose between two scheduling options:
Continuous: In this scheduling mode the content will be played uninterrupted from the start date to the end date. To define a continuous schedule, assign a name and a date in the calendar, a start date, and an end date. When everything is ready click on Apply.
[NOTE]Please note: Continuous programming will be displayed above the Base content that the device has until programming is finished. After that, the Base content will be automatically displayed.
Weekly: In this programming mode the device will display the content only during the selected time slots on the selected days of the week. For example, if you want the content to appear every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 a.m., you will have to follow the following steps:
- Select the duration period of this publication.
- Choose the days of the week that the information will be displayed.
- Define the start and end time of the publication. It will be the same every day.
[NOTE]Please note: The weekly schedule will be displayed above the base content or continuously scheduled content. When the viewing period ends, the content that was being shown before will be automatically displayed.
